The University of Colorado at Boulder and the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs are amending their student housing contracts, segregating students who possess a valid concealed-weapons carry permit.
The university said Thursday that both campuses will establish a residential area for students over the age of 21 with permits. In all other dormitories, guns will be banned, the new policy states.

Them gun owners are uppity, aren't they!
If I had a daughter attending U of C I might well urge her to live in the well-armed dorms.
ReplyDeleteThis will simply advertise who does and who does NOT have gun (potentially, at least). Which building would a crook break into?
ReplyDeleteGiven the drubbing CU already took at the Colorado Supreme Court, this policy of theirs is blatantly illegal.
ReplyDeleteSo, if a student suddenly gains a stalker, and decides she needs a gun, she's expected to move? And if the available rooms are all taken?
