It is almost entirely a hillside (almost a mountainside). Of course, because it is basalt, you can build on it. You just need to bring in some serious equipment to cut a shelf in a slope. I actually a more grandiose plan for the sort of house that I would have built if I was as rich as a liberal, that would have worked its way into the slope, but I'm not rich as a liberal, so I had to settle for something a bit more ordinary.
How big of a lot do you have?

ReplyDeleteIf I owned the 11 acres around where I live, I'd have at least 400 tenants.
But I like it here well enough. (For one thing, I don't drive.)
