Not Everyone Is Smart Enough To Rob Banks

Remember the joke about the stupid counterfeiters who print $15 bills, and try to exchange in the Ozarks, because the hillbillies aren't smart enough to know any better--until they get offered $3 bills in change?

This report in the January 6, 2011 Idaho Statesman reports on a Phoenix bank robber:

Police in the Phoenix area are looking for a bank robbery suspect they've dubbed the "$60 Bill Bandit" because he once asked a teller for $40 and $60 bills - denominations that aren't printed.

It's rather sad that this AP news story felt the need to explain that those bills do not exist.
