8/8/26 Fortune article seems to open with GenZ whiner clickbait:
Great disappointment will follow the Great Wealth Transfer as baby boomers pass on just a fraction of their fortune to millennials and Gen Xers
The article goes on to explain that the $93 teilkion in wealth that Boomers are sitting on incQ2ludes substantial debt. More importantly at the end it points out that a good bit has already been transferred, providing financial assistance that allowed their kids to buy their first homes. Not mentioned but in some cases we have forgiven private student loans, and passed on received inheritances at least in part. In some cases, GenX and GenZ have benefited from getting out of college with no student loans.
Would it not be very entertaining to see GenZ socialists watch the government confiscate all that wealth, leaving them nothing to inherit but photo albums, China, and memories?
Not to mention furniture they think is hideous, knicknacks, and hideous clothing that won't fit them.
