I suppose that I can work around this.

Shooting Right-handed Only Now
The pacemaker is at a location thst makes shooting with the bullet on my left shoulder (my preference) no longer possible. One shot of 7.62mm NATO would be excruciating. Unfortunately, I am left eye dominant which is doubtless why I prefer shooting left--the scope works more naturally with my left eye.
