If TECAB or MIDCAB (minimally invasive direct coronary arteries bypass) are not available or the wait for one of the places out of area is more than a few weeks, cuttinf the sternum is the only way. I do not want to be this fatigued for months on end, and the increased risk of the LAD or circumflex arteries occluding to infarction is not something to have. CABG in an emergency setting is way worse than planned
