A Tragedy

I heard school rampage shooting, but it wasn't what we have become used to.  Teenaged lesbian murder-suicide.  No surprise, suicides are 2x-8x more common among gays than straights, and teens are at high risk as well.

  1. I haven't seen the stats, but I'd bet that lesbianism, in particular, will be on the rise. It seems to often (not always) be a lifestyle choice, not some sort of biological forced trait, and the current culture celebrates it.

  2. I generally avoid the current and recent TV and movie offerings these days (way too much vulgarity, stupidity and explosions for me), but I have seen some mention in brief clips of shows I've forced myself to watch (often in comic shows) of college lesbianism as if it is an expected and even celebrated thing. Apparently they think that many young woman will experiment with and have such sexual encounters in college as part of their growing up now. Not sure how much truth to how common that is (not interested in trying to research it either--too depressing for one). But that does seem to support what Stormchaser is saying.

I wouldn't be surprised if there are lesbian professors that are encouraging such things among the college girls. Add to their confusion and we know many of the guys aren't too nice to girls these days either which may add to that appeal. SAD. The USA is circling the toilet drain....
