I was attending a high school graduation in Orange County, California. The auditorium was a neoclassical Greek temple on the outside -- but inside was a weird collection of dangerous steps and ladders down to the seats -- a complete false front. Then, the students all started to sing the school song -- and it was something out of a Broadway musical like "South Pacific." Only the start of the chorus remains in my memory:
"I'm just a Lt. (j.g.) from Honolulu...."
I had an architecturally weird dream as a preteen. I was on a college campus with a dorm that went up 10 or so stories - and a spiral slide with entry points on every floor. That might violate a few building codes...
