Marijuana Appeals To Such High Class People

When I saw the headline about some people being tried for vandalizing an Indian archaeological site in northern Idaho, my first thought was, "neo-Nazi trash?"  Nope.  From the July 7, 2011 Idaho Statesman:
Freddie M. Bernal, Tyler J. Carlson and Jerad Bovencamp have pleaded not guilty to felony willful depredation of property in in Coeur d'Alene's U.S. District Court. Federal prosecutors say the men spray-painted a marijuana leaf and references to smoking pot across rock art at the Red Elk Rock Shelter near Hells Gate State Park. Experts say the pictographs are at least 2,500 years old.

As much as I think drugs should be legalized, and the legal consequences delegated to civil courts, whenever the subject comes up on radio, it happens without fail: some pothead is going to call up to make the case that marijuana should be legalized, and do such a lousy job at it, that he sets the movement back at least another decade!

If marijuana users are the best example of why you shouldn't use pot, whether or not it is legal.
