I really don't need four displays on my laptop, but Windows 7 can give me four separate displays. I had thought of ordering a bigger monitor but two 23" displays is enough. An 11" notebook is too much, and the 20" as well is just wretched excess! Where's the mouse?

Oviously, Another Tea Party Plot
1/26/16 Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel:
See how paranoid Trump is about Muslim refugees?
A terrorist-style plot intended to kill dozens of people with automatic weapons at a Masonic center in Milwaukee was foiled this week by FBI agents, federal prosecutors said Tuesday. No terrorism charge? They forgot?
Samy Mohamed Hamzeh discussed his plan to attack the center with two others, detailing how they would quickly and quietly kill the first people they saw and then methodically move through the building, "eliminating everyone" they encountered, according to a federal criminal complaint.
Hamzeh, 23, has been charged with possessing a machine gun and a silencer. Despite indications of an attempted act of terrorism, Hamzeh is not charged with any terrorism counts.
"We are Muslims, defending Muslim religion, we are on our own, my dear, we have organized our own group," Hamzeh said, according to the criminal complaint, adding he was confident it would trigger more attacks in the United States.
"Such operations will increase in America, when they hear about it. The people will be scared and the operations will increase, and there will be problems all over,... this will lead to people clashing with each other. This way we will be igniting it. I mean we are marching at the front of the war," he said, according to the complaint.
Acting U.S. Attorney Gregory J. Haanstad called it a "detailed plan to commit a mass shooting intended to kill dozens of people."

HomeGroups Under Windows 7/10
I managed to get HomeGroups working under Windows 7, but Windows 10 is being unhelpful and I see that others are also having problems. Mine seems to be partly a problem with some device on my LAN doing NAT. Other than the router doing NAT for the LAN/WAN interface, what other device would be doing NAT?
Multitasking Copying From CDs
I am copying a dozen DVDs and CDs of old photos back to my PC; but the bottleneck is DVD drive speed. So I plugged a USB drive into my antique and I am now copying CDs to that 30GB drive. the copy back to the PC will be faster.
I should mention part of the problem is that the Lenovo does not have a built-in DVD drive, so it is connected through a USB port, which slows it down dramatically. Built-in DVD drives are what? PATA or SATA on newer laptops?
It did not occur to me when buying this what difference a USB DVD drive would make in performance. Minutes to copy instead of hours. The drive is USB 3.0. It is plugged into a Lenovo docking station which goes a 3.0 hub which then plugs into 3.0 port. All those extra hops may be the issue. I will try this with the drive directly into 3.0 port on the ThinkPad.

Does This Mean the Democrats Have To Declare War on China?
1/26/16 Marketwatch:
Not long after billionaire George Soros forecast a so-called hard landing for the Chinese economy, Beijing fired back by calling out the high-profile investor, warning him of betting against its currency, according to media reports Tuesday.Soros, Nazi collaborator, does own the Democratic Part.
“Soros’ challenge against the renminbi and Hong Kong dollar is unlikely to succeed, there is no doubt about that,” said a government official in an opinion piece widely cited by several media outlets.
The article headlined, ”Declaring war on China’s currency? Ha ha,” was published by the People’s Daily, the official newspaper of the Chinese Communist Party which is widely viewed as Beijing’s propaganda tool.
