What is tells me is that there should be more focus on the words than the typeface as long as they are not using a font like Hostage. That could be entertaining however..

In the mid 80's when I worked for Big Aerospace, I edited a monthly newsletter we called "Computalk". After a search for a suitable font for the front-page caption, we went with a color version of what is apparently now called "Hostage". It really benefits from color compared to the run of the mill Hostage.
ReplyDeleteUsing it for more than captions and titles would, as you say, be quite interesting. Eye-catching and amusing, too.
And Comic Sans is dissed.
