Stainless Steel is Really Hard
I thought I ordered 13mm carbon steel rod. No, it was stainless steel but I thought I only need to cut a small section down to M13 major diameter. But even carbide cutting tool just dulls the tool.

I knew that my Swiss Army knives and other stainless steel knives took a long time to sharpen, but I did not know it was harder than carbide steel. High Speed Steel would be totally useless, then.
