I am going to clamp these onto the legs with thumbscrews pressing on acetal. This should protect the legs adequately. Thanks to all.

1/4" Rubber Discs?
I was having trouble finding 6 rubber tipped knurled or lobular thumbscrews. Thread not important; I will tap for what I find. I found six beautiful knurled 1/4"-20 thumbscrews. (I had to buy minimum 10.) Does anyone know where to find 1/4" diameter rubber discs.

I assume a soft, hollow slip-on like a vacuum cap would not work? I don't know how you would get a flat disc to stay on the end of your screw if you're repeatedly using it.
