"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." -- Rom. 8:28
I made a loaf of glutentastic (or is that glutenlicious) bread and it was even more of a disaster although it rose more. This Hitachi is 20 years old. Time for a new one.
One will find MANY purported reasons why gluten-free bread-machine bread is bricklike. However one frequently sees success from people who use the bread machine up until the "let rise" stage for their gluten-free dough, and then bake in the normal oven. It is still a labor-saving machine, just not quite as labor saving as letting it complete the whole process as a robot.
