Sunshades
I gave up trying to find sunshades that screwed into objective threads for my two Bushnell scopes, so I bored out a 1.5" ID Delrin tube to make a very tight fit onto the scope on a .308 Winchester bolt action, and a 1.75" ID Delrin tube for a very tight fit on a 40mm scope. I had thought I would need nylon tipped set screws to hold them in place, but unless the recoil is far greater than I have experienced with with either rifle, I do not think that I will need them. I actually needed to tap the sunshades in place with a little gunsmithing hammer.
