It's easy to make small rolls. Take all of those 'pre-approved' credit cards that come in and wind a few yards of duct tape around them. Handy to keep in the car, bug-out-bag, etc.. I also have some that have different colors of electrical tape wrapped around them (for that I go around the short way to make room for several colors). The colored tape is for flagging and such.
