spatial distribution of murders in the U.S. map?

The local NPR affiliate Guns in America reporter is talking about setting up a public forum here to have me and someone from the other side discuss gun control? A valuable tool for emphasizing how
concentrated gun murders and murders in general are, would be a map showing each murder as a point on a U.S. map? I would like to think such a map exists? Alternatively, a list of murders per zipcode could be mapped if this data was available.

Not quite what I wanted but still useful:

Murder rates/100,000 people by city for 2018.  From here.
