If you are old enough, you may remember a book call Computer Lib/Dream Machines. Yes, like many hippie creations, you flip Computer Lib over and the other side is a book titled Dream Machines. This book is considered something of an interesting artifact of the development of the idea of the personal computer as tool for sticking it to Man. Some editions and print runs are surprisingly valuable. See eBay. I would like to sell it. (Sorry, no VW microbus or beads to go with the book; in some states, supply your own pot.)
I cannot figure out which printing this is. It seems to be first edition. Does lack of print number likely indicate first print run?
So I listed it.
"Does lack of print number likely indicate first print run? "
ReplyDeleteThere were only 2 editions that I can see 1974 and then 1987.
Definitely first edition. Not sure what printing of first edition.
