The August 3, 2010 Las Vegas Sun reports that the most recent copyright infringement suits were over "four paragraphs" quoted (with attribution and link) from a Las Vegas Review-Journal blog posting. I was saying a while back that because of fair use's vagueness, I'm not sure it would be safe to quote a single sentence. I had no idea how quickly this would turn out to be the case.
UPDATE: Four paragraphs out of a six paragraph blog posting. It is still outrageous that this went to suit, rather than a request to take it down.
