Some people like for their constituencies to live in fear.
ReplyDeletePanicked people are easier to lead and don't look as closely at evidence.
The dashed vertical line is the opening up date, I think. There is no infection data for that yet.
ReplyDeleteAlso, "opening up" may have less impact than people think, because a lot of sensible individuals will continue to socially distance.
I have been hearing complaints about both governors opening prematurely for at least a week.
