Pain
I keep waiting for these tortured back muscles to stop screaming--or at least show progress. I was complaining about this, this morning, and my wife said, "Nothing moves at the speed of your brain. Be patient." Acetaminophen is taking the edge off the pain. I iced it regularly the first few days; now heat is doing more good, When I am on the heating pad, it stops hurting, and resumes when I leave it..

This may be slightly off-label for the med, but ask you M.D. for an Rx for Gabapentin in the 100mg strength. It is prescribed for a number of issues, including the quite severe pain that accompanies post-herpetic neuralgia.
ReplyDeleteIt really does a good job, it is non-opioid, and the 100mg strength allows you to tailor the dosage to manage the pain without going overboard.
