For Those Who Teach
If you are one of those who teaches, and you are feeling discouraged, or that what you are doing really doesn't matter: go to Netflix, and look for episode 102 of the original Twilight Zone series (season 3, episode 37, "The Changing of the Guard"). In some respects, it is very un-PC, but I suspect that few who teach will be able to watch it out with getting teary-eyed, and perhaps a bit more willing to see that we do makes a difference--even if it takes a very long time, and we may not see all the results.

"Goodbye, Mr Chips" is also a great movie, but I suppose it is more of a love story. It would make an elephant cry.
