All The Leftist Screeching About College Rape & War on Women

Most of which is alcohol-induced miscommunication, and yet here is a real rapist, and no surprise, he's a Democrat and a person with power.  From 12/2/14 Washington Post:
A former Democratic congressional aide pleaded guilty Tuesday to sexually assaulting two women in 2010.

Donny Ray Williams Jr., 37, who served as a staff director for the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs subcommittee, pleaded guilty to third-degree sexual abuse, two misdemeanor counts of sexual abuse and one count of misdemeanor threats.

Prosecutors say that on July 22, 2010, Williams invited a female congressional colleague to his Capitol Hill apartment and promised to introduce her to Senate employees. At the house, prosecutors said, Williams spiked a drink with Ambien. The woman, according to court documents, fell into a “deep sleep,” at which point Williams raped her.

The Solyndra Scandal Just Gets Worse

So, where did that $535 million in U.S. guaranteed loans to Solyndra go?  The Other McCain points out that while the Washington Post is covering the story of Solyndra's spending on lobbyists in Washington, it is leaving out some interesting names:

Carney further reports that Solyndra’s lobbyists included Andy Quinn, former chief of staff for top Democrat Rep. Steny Hoyer of Maryland.
So it turns out the “green jobs” meant well-paid employment for lots of well-connected D.C. lobbyists. Good thing Nancy Pelosi drained the swamp and got rid of the Culture of Corruption, huh?

Like Congress Is Swearing

TechDirt points out that Congress, in its rush to get a bill through, left out some details.  Like the name of the bill. The formal terminology that appears in the Congressional Record describes it as "The ______Act of____"

When you can't do any better than this, perhaps it's time to stop, slow down, and think.
