The U.S. Population is Growing Faster Than I Realized

Congresswoman Maxine Waters claims the proposed revision of Obamacare will:
“Take, for example, the state of Kentucky. Almost one-third of those people in that state are covered by Medicaid, and so they’re talking about eliminating 700 billion,” she said, looking off camera, seemingly seeking confirmation, “in, uh, Trumpcare bill.”
It appears she doesn't know that the US population is a bit over 300 million.  Kentucky is a bit less.  Does Maxine not know what million and billion mean? Admittedly, this was on MSNBC, so not sure how man of their viewers will catch this.

Some have suggested that she means $700 billion, bot 700 billion people.  The entire costs for Obamacare nationwide were $940 billion over 10 years--so $94 billion per year.

For Pete's sake. Notice that she did not say 700 billion PEOPLE. She was probably talking about 700 billion dollars, which is pretty plausible.

I have no respect for Waters at all, but this attack makes you look ridiculous.
