The Building Project...
The more I look at this--easily $9000--the more inclined I am to say no, and perhaps just buy a used storage shed for the snowthrower, lawnmower, and the telescopes. That's a lot of money, especially in a society that is on the verge of economic collapse because it has already morally collapsed.

The telescope and snow blower and all wouldn't know if the floor was cracked or sloping from the freezing weather, would they? Sounds like a good idea. Let the working people have the whole present garage. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteYou might want to consider one of the tarp sheds like this one. I was in the market for another outbuilding for storing some ATVs, snowblowers, etc and when I did the math I could buy one of those every year for life as compared to what my property tax would go up for even a very small and inexpensive pole barn. At least where I live those are considered portable, temporary structures and not taxed even though my other ones have lasted 7 years so far and are still going strong.
ReplyDeleteThis is a place where 30 pound tables get picked up and carried away by the winds--where our several hundred pound snowthrower sometimes travels 30 or 40 feet from wind. I am not sure that it would last one storm.
ReplyDeleteFortunately, property taxes are negligible in this county.
