Beavers Turning Deserts Into Water

I found this video about releasing beavers into Southwestern deserts causing growth of rivers, lakes, and greenery.  They seemed implausible but this 7/13/21 BBC article confirmed that yes, beavers can turn deserts into wetlands.

This actually sounds serious.   6/13/25 Glass Almanac:

"NASA has raised concerns over an increasingly mysterious anomaly in Earth’s magnetic field, which is spreading and creating unpredictable challenges for modern technology, particularly space-based systems."

This is a weakening of the magnetic field over the South Atlantic.  Satellites are at risk of high-energy protons.
