Patrick Moore, a past president of Greenpeace-Canada, has published an astronishing paper titled, "The Positive Impact of Human CO2 Emissions on the Survival of Life on Earth." One of the interesting graphs:
Yes there is no obvious correlation of CO2 concentration and temperature. Other graphs for the more recent periods also cast doubt on anthropogenic climate change:
Survival of Life on Earth
Human CO Emissions on the
Survival of Life on Earth
So where does that CO2 go? The ocean absorbs about 30% of atmosdpheric CO2 becoming more acidic because of it. Sea creatures use it to make shells and when they are pulled under he cdeep trenches, they become calcium carbonate, about 4% of the Earth's crust.
The Earth is an amazing system, able to equilibriate gases in the atmosphere.
