Someone Has Not Mastered English

Today's spam is from someone addressing me as groovy guy, and describing herself as a 27 year old shiny girl.  (I think she meant she was "bright.")

    I have heard "shiny" used as a synonym for "bright," but I suspect that this usage is derived from "Firefly," as Timmeeh suggests.
