Ironic--they ask me about that at the clinics at UNMC--where they are taking in the Ebola cases.
ReplyDeleteThere's a very big difference between accepting a "shrink-wrapped" patient who know know has Ebola into a specialized ward, vs. someone showing up at the ER or a clinic in the early stages where the typical symptoms are indistinguishable from those cased by many diseases, including some 1st World Ones.
ReplyDeleteThey asked me that at Mayo Clinic, Scottsdale today. But Mayo does have a whole lot of foreigners coming to use their services.
