We should be able to use waterboarding, in exceptional circumstances. After 9-11, it was used tens of thousands of times.
ReplyDeleteBut only three of those times were on our enemies. The rest were on our soldiers at SERE school. When I attended SERE, they had other unpleasant ways to introduce us to 'enhanced interrogation' techniques - waterboarding came a few years later.
If we can do it to our own volunteers, we certainly should be able to do it to the really bad guys, when we have to get information.
