Airbnb and vacasa both are missing a search filter for "frenced yard." I rwally want a place near Cascade with a yard to keep the dogs from suffering Call of the Wild.

You Are Not Marrying Hin
I know many Christians are reluctant to vote for Trump. He is a pretty carnal guy. He us from New York City so that is the norm.
Nonetheless, ask yourself, are you marrying this guy or picking as your pastor? Compare the consequences for a society where children are being drugged to change their sex and prisoners get taxpayer-funded sex reassignment surgery, girls have to use locker rooms with men. Which do you want?
Get out and vote Tuesdsy. If you are dead, I am hoping you have already done so.
Thank Obama and Biden

Iran claims it can build nukes, threatens Israel and US with ‘tooth-breaking’ retaliation"Only if Iran does not mind Tehran turning into glowing glass. Israel has SLBM nukes as well as the U.S. With a little coordination, every Iranian military base and weapon facility could be destroyed without reducing our retaliatory capacity.Of course, that is if Trump is President. Harris will be negotiating best possible deal after losing NYC.

That Mechanical Engineering Question...
I replaced the 3/4" thick piece of plywood with a new one. Moving the telescope off that base and drilling the needed holes is letting me know about in back and legs today.
The replacement:
I Went Shooting Today With my Son-In-Law
It has been a long time. I intended to get the Redfield Revolution 4x-12x scope zeroed on the M1A. I do not normally keep the scope on the rifle. (The guns already scream "Lebensraum!" when I open the door.)
So as I load up in preparation for my son-in-law's arrival, I am hunting for the scope. Where is it? I suspect that in preparation for the move, I removed it from the safe and it did not climb back inside after the move.
After enough hunting, I decided to give up on this and returned the M1A and magazines to the safe.
Wait! What is that box at the bottom of the random stack next to the safe? Yes, the scope was in there on that distinctive Springfield Arsenal (Armory?) mount.
So I grabbed the M1A, but not the magazines. I get to the range. Single feeding an M1A is slow and dangerous to fingers. Worse, I thought Homedale Gun Club had target holders to which I could affix paper targets. There are some permanent holders but I wanted 25 yards because I knew that at 25 yards, a 200 yard zero would be -1.5".
Anyway, the net result was a few satisfying booms but no hits on metal plates. Next time, I will take target holders.
My son-in-law loves the Walther PPK/S .22. It is accurate and fun. As a defensive pistol goes, it is better than being unarmed. It should in many cases remind an attacker of an urgent appointment elsewhere, such as at a trauma room.
The Homedale pistol range has some 25 yard silhouette targets. I can easily hit those targets 6 out of 10 shots. I cannot imagine any circumstances where I would be using it for self-defense at even that range. There are some 15 yard falling plates which are a more likely distance. I can knock those down in half my shots. These are tiny little plates.
The low recoil of the Walther makes it very pleasant for rapid shooting. You should engage in slow careful shooting in an emergency, but I wonder how many people who are trained to do one shot per second manage to do so when suddenly confronted?
It was nice having the whole range to ourselves. If you live in the Boise area and want a range that is not overcrowded consider joining.
