Ban Guns to Reduce Mass Murders

11/12/24 AP:
"ZHUHAI, China (AP) — A man who authorities said was upset over his divorce settlement rammed his car into a crowd of people exercising at a sports complex in southern China, killing 35 and severely injuring dozens of others, police said Tuesday."

Not even a record motor vehicle mass murder.  The 2016 Marseilles truck terrorist attack killed 86.

  1. I'm reading elsewhere that disasters in PRC with more than 35 deaths have unfortunate consequences for local public officials. Therefore the internation notice and local response to this event may be an indication that 35 should be considered an official rather than an actual number of deaths.

  2. And neither incident was in America, so they can't blame American values or the "easy availability of guns" that the two perpetrators couldn't overcome, so they had to resort to a different deadly weapon.
