I saw somewhere a breakdown of lynch mobs in 1895 or so; three or four were listed as "colored".
It does not surprise me that blacks in this era would participate in the lynching system on occasion. Lynching was a demonstration of power and authority, and blacks would want a piece of that.

If those numbers are accurate, I would be surprised not to find evidence of biracial lynch mobs.
