Russia is now leading the fight to save Western Civilization. From
October 1, 2015 Reuters:
Russian warplanes,
in a second day of strikes, bombed a camp run by rebels trained by the
CIA, the group's commander said, putting Moscow and Washington on
opposing sides in a Middle East conflict for the first time since the
Cold War.
The U.S. and Russian militaries were due to hold talks
via video link to seek ways to keep their militaries apart as they wage
parallel campaigns of air strikes in Syria, a U.S. defense official
said.
Russian jets struck targets near the cities of Hama and
Homs in western Syria on the second day of their air campaign.
Moscow said it had hit Islamic State positions, but the
areas it struck are mostly held by a rival insurgent alliance, which
unlike Islamic State is supported by U.S. allies including Arab states
and Turkey.
I gotta disagree with the fool part. BO isn't a fool. He is accomplishing exactly what he set out to do. The people who voted for him are the fools
ReplyDeleteI heard a snippet of Ashton Carter's press briefing about that. When he said that the places Russia bombed weren't IS-controlled areas, he was stammering like either he hadn't expected the question, or was having a hard time forcing the lie out of his mouth.
ReplyDeleteI really doubt he and his staff are so incompetent that they weren't prepared for the question.
Yes indeed, he's a total fool. I disagree with MB above - while Obama did set out to reduce our world influence to that of Belgium, he did not intend to create this mess. He has to know that history will look at him harshly - his legacy will be that of a new cold war, with crucial American interests in Europe, the Middle East and Asia in worse shape than even Jimmy Carter left them.
ReplyDeleteObama is a fool. Worse, as Richard Fernandez points out, he is an unteachable fool. The man is arrogant and detached from reality. Let's just hope our nation can survive the remaining 16 months without irreparable harm.
