Michael Bloomberg's puppet as Pennsylvania Attorney-General is busily tearing up concealed carry reciprocity agreements with other states. Shall Not Be Questioned describes how she recently decided to scrap such arrangements with both Utah and Idaho, apparently because both states issue to non-residents. But Shall Not Be Questioned points out that so does Pennsylvania, and the statute that defines reciprocity with other states indicates that Pennsylvania will reciprocate with other states with substantially similar laws.
If Pennsylvania Attorney-General Kane wanted to argue that the problem is non-resident licenses (which is the objection that Philadelphia has to Pennsylvania residents of the wrong skin color carrying on Florida non-resident licenses), then she could change the agreement so that Pennsylvania only recognizes resident Idaho or Utah licenses. I would not be thrilled about this, but Pennsylvania would not be the only state to make this distinction. Pennsylvania police could look at an out-of-state license's address, and say, "Gee, this is an Idaho license. Is the address on the license in Idaho?"
Bloomberg keeps telling the lie that his groups aren't hostile to gun ownership -- they want criminals and the mentally ill not to have guns. But a concealed weapon license is a pretty darn effective filter for that. It is clear that Bloomberg's stooges are hostile to self-defense.
