Very Offensive Asian Insults From KTVU in the Bay Area

Michelle Malkin's blog has the screenshot of what KTVU in Oakland claimed were the names of the four pilots on the Asiana flight that crashed.

Say them out loud, although not on radio or television.  They claim that the National Transportation Safety Board provided the names.  Yeah, right.

UPDATE: Amazingly enough, NTSB did provide those names.  The intern responsible, one guesses, has another job now.  Perhaps chief of protocol for the State Department.

  1. See: http://www.ntsb.gov/news/2013/130712.html

Presumably there is one less summer intern at the NTSB.

  2. The incompetence is just amazing.

Sure, I know, I don't like the current President ... but it can't all be my imagination that the incompetence level is at an all time high.

  3. I wonder if the intern may have been Hugh G. Rection, a graduate student under the tutelage of Prof. Jacques Mihoff?

  4. If you read carefully I think it says the summer intern "confirmed" the names. As I read it, a prankster pulled a fast one on both the TV Station AND the NTSB when the TV station attempted to verify.

Was it really a "summer intern" who verified? Perhaps. Or perhaps the summer intern was the NTSB's scapegoat.

  5. The current story is that the NTSB confirmed the names not that it provided them. Personally I find it hard to believe that this was an innocent mistake by the intern.

  6. He has probably been moved over to the State Department; they have positions for young persons of high imagination.

    Cheers

  7. Let's just hope this intern doesn't get hired by anyone after they graduate college!

  8. I should have added I'm sure one of the late night talk shows will hire them. They would fit in with any of those shows.

  9. The "intern" has a future writing comedy.

As offensive as this might be, I couldn't stop laughing when I saw it on You Tube.

I'm not sure if I was laughing at the names or the anchor who was reading them totally oblivious to the comedic nature of them.
