Obviously not all Muslims or even a large minority have this strange notion of appropriate fashion accessories, but it is certainly a reminder of what Mao said about revolutionaries among the peasants are like fish in the water.
To be pedantic there was a story floating around a while back about a couple of Meth users who'd killed the girls boyfriend and cut his head off. Took pictures of it, and then had (walgreens?) print them out. Which is how they got caught.
