I mentioned these a few days ago because I needed some long 8-32 thumbscrews and they are not readily available. McMaster-Carr sells these thumbscrew caps that press onto socket head cap screws. No glue required. It is literally a press fit. I may Superglue them anyway.
Loctite 603 works as well.
