Annoying Problem
My Samsung Galaxy S4 uses Bluetooth to talk to my car. It works great. When I restart my phone, Bluetooth is turned off. I have to turn it back on again to have it talk to the car. Anyone know how to tell it to turn on Bluetooth at reboot?
My phone's a OnePlus One, and I have a system setting called "System Profiles" where I can have wifi/bluetooth and many other functions turn on or off depending on what I'm connecting to (or disconnecting from.)
I have my phone set so that when I leave my home wifi and turn the car on, the wifi shuts off and bluetooth turns on (vice-versa when I return home.)
Sorry I don't know if your Samsung offers this option but maybe it has something similar.
I have the same phone, and my Bluetooth stays ON when power is cycled. I have power-saving mode turned OFF, though. Perhaps if it is ON, Bluetooth won't automatically be turned on when power is cycled.
Check online to see if there is a pdf file operators manual for the phone. The booklet that comes in the box with a phone these days doesn't tell you much more than how to turn it on.

ReplyDeleteJust a guess.
