Cell Phone Batteries
SmartPhones seem to gobble up capacity pretty fast. The Samsung Galaxy S4 standard battery is 2600 mAh; I see 5200 mAh batteries offered for it. I would expect twice the charge life. Anyone with experience of larger capacity cell phone batteries.
One of my previous phones had interchangeable batteries, though my present one does not. For the old phone I got a larger capacity battery, and it worked great. I also got a charger/stand so I could have the phone charging while on my desk, with the backup battery charged & ready to go. Unless I was expecting to be away for more than a day, the larger capacity battery in the phone was all I needed.
One thing to look out for is that there are a lot of crappy batteries which are imitations, Ebay is full of them (some are ridiculously cheap.) If you buy from a reputable source you'll be OK.
Since my present phone doesn't have a replaceable battery, I carry a rechargeable battery pack (mine's old, only 5600mAH.) Here are some new ones: https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_c_3_11?url=search-alias%3Dmobile&field-keywords=phone+battery+pack&sprefix=phone+batte%2Caps%2C218
