On yet another forum, they've been discussing the legality of so-called 80% machined AR receivers. You complete them yourself, and apparently it is legal to make your own gun from one. Even though it has no serial number. As long as you never try to sell it to anyone else.
lol I've been a CNC programmer for decades. Even had a stable of cnc machining centers. I don't recall dreaming about it tho.
