The Journal of Women's Health and Development asked me to submit an article that I had originally written about castle doctrine and Stand Your Ground laws. Why? Because women under threat of domestic violence are the big winners of these laws.
I will be curious if this survives peer review.
I have been a peer-reviewer for a few medical journals. I'm asked far less often these days (say, the last ten years) for some reason.
ReplyDeleteI have also found that the rigour, and outright accuracy of the writers statistical analysis has deteriorated, over the last ten years or so. And few notice, fewer comment.
