FreeCAD

This is an open source CAD/CAM package that works under Windows and Linux.

 I have repeatedly beat my head against the wall trying to use it.  I would draw a rectangle.   Release the mouse button.   Move mouse and more rectangles appear.

I was watching a YouTube tutorial that explained Esc or right click to stop making objects.  What a difference.
