Strongly recommended. Language and his attempts to get somewhere with tantric yoga gals in Portlandia is what makes this not quite appropriate for children.

Dog
This is a quirky comedy-drama with important themes. Army Ranger returns from time in the Sandbox with a TBI. Army dog with an uncontrollable behavior problem must be taken to the funeral of another Ranger whose inability to cope with post-service life led to a likely suicide. Why our hero gets the task and how you will discover but it is a powerful film that honors patriotism and duty while having some laughs along the way.
Have watched it almost twice now. Got maybe 2/3 through on the first try. Not going to win a major award I think, but well worth watching.
ReplyDeleteYes. A fil does not need to be an award winner to be enjoyable and worth patronizing.
