Songs That Just Overwhelm Me Their Emotional Power
Elvis Presley's Kentucky Rain. Why did she run? At least I am pretty sure she wasn't a hound dog.
It's cliche, but I feel that way about a lot of Adele songs.
"Last Kiss" by J. Frank Wilson always got to me. I've been listening to it all my life. Though I think I actually like the version by Pearl Jam even better.
Kentucky Rain is actually an Eddie Rabbitt song, recorded by Elvis. To my knowledge Elvis never wrote a song, but got half writing credit on most of those he recorded by contract.
