Removing Ink from Aluminum Stock
Acetone takes the ink off the Alcoa stock, but not the Kaiser stock. Alcohol perhaps?
Does the Kaiser stock have a clearcoat finish?
ReplyDeletelacquer thinner?
ReplyDeleteDepends on the ink.
ReplyDeleteBrakeKleen always works for me. As does Carb Cleaner. (The Carb Cleaner is flammable).
YMMV
Yes, try alcohol. Used to use it a lot to remove sharpie pen marks on aluminum samples.
ReplyDeleteCarburetor cleaner will usually do it. Scotch brite pad will drgidefini take it off with or ewithou cleaner.
