Mood Swings Are Pretty Unpleasant
I know intellectually that how down I feel today is just another mood swing. Yesterday I felt pretty good; tomorrow will probably feel pretty good too. But the days between are not fun.
Relax Clay, it'll take a while for the effects of the anesthesia to wean itself out of your system. I had 4 abdominal ops within 8 months a few years ago and it took me at least a year after the last one before I felt reasonably comfortable with myself. Uncontrolled angry outbursts were my biggest complaint. Blah! Glad you're on the mend though.
At least you're cognisant of the mood swings. Try living with a menopausal woman with a serious addiction to pain meds (crushed vertebrae). It sucks to be on both sides of the behaviour.

ReplyDeleteI'm bipolar, so I can totally relate.
