Health Progress
Blood pressure this morning: 110/72. Pulse 68. I haven't lost any weight, but my pants and shirts are looser than they used to be.
I always tell the teenage girls I coach - "Stay off the scale. Its just a number that doesn't mean anything. If you are able to keep up at practice, you are feeling good, and you like the way your clothes fit and they way you look in them, then what do you care what number is on the scale?"
Muscle is more dense than fat. So if you've been exercising you can weigh the same but take up less space and thus the loose clothing.
