Officials from another party-backed group, Color of Change, kicked off a boycott of Coke and other financial backers of the American Legislative Exchange Council which supports new voter ID laws.I need a driver's license to drive a car; get on an airliner; buy a gun; and enter some government buildings. I need two IDs to start work. But voting is such a fundamental right that requiring ID is somehow a problem? It's pretty clear that the Democrats are terrified of honest elections, because so few of their voters are capable of the long-term planning required to get a driver's license or state ID card.
UPDATE: How disappointing. From the April 5, 2012 Detroit Free Press comes word that Coca-Cola is backing out of ALEC because ALEC's support for Stand Your Ground laws and voter ID laws.
Um, how can we tell if a Democrat is Boycotting Wal-Mart over Voter ID, or boycotting Wal-Mart for being anti-Union, or Boycotting Wal-Mart for some other reason?
