Without Guns?

The DrudgeReport link said: "Seething liberals vow revolution" but 11/12/16 The Hill:
The Republican civil war was supposed to start this week.
Instead, a ferocious struggle has erupted on the left over the smoldering remains of the Democratic Party.
Liberals are seething over the election and talking about launching a Tea Party-style revolt. They say it’s the only way to keep Washington Democrats connected to the grassroots and to avoid a repeat of the 2016 electoral disaster, which blindsided party elites.
Progressives believe the Democratic establishment is responsible for inflicting Donald Trump upon the nation, blaming a staid corporate wing of the party for nominating Hillary Clinton and ignoring the Working Class voters that propelled Trump to victory.
The article goes to talk about a third party if they can't take control of the Democratic/Fascists in Birkenstocks Party.  Please.  A Progressive Party would split the Democrat electorate quite nicely, and many people who register and vote Democrat out of family tradition would be unwilling to go Progressive.

Even better, without the corporate wing, where will they get the money to win elections?  A genuine Progressive Party unwilling to let the corporations feed at the federal trough will be uninteresting to the billionaires and millionaires.  This money need is why fascism forms as a heresy of progressivism.  Hitler started receiving corporate funding in 1931, because the corporate interests thought the choice was National Socialism or Communism, and National Socialism would be easier to control in their interests,

  1. So, the plan is to legitimize the Bernie Sanders wing? And keep it apart from the rest of the democrats?

    OK, BRING IT ON.

  2. Donna Brazil in 2010 stated that she didn't even expect the Republican party to have a presidential candidate in 2012 (she was expecting the party to die). Instead the actions of people like Brazil has now potentially set in motion the death of the oldest party in the United States. If it fractures it will fracture along the Bernie Sanders people and then along the Reagan Democrats. The middle are those who always ran the Democratic party with their business and hollywood connections. The important thing is the Reagan Dems who will finally have no good reason to stay and probably join the Republican Party.

Of course we still have to get Trump in the White House. I say that because I seriously begun wondering if these protesters have the guts to assassinate any of the electors to intimidate the remaining into voting for Hillary. That would be the end of our democracy as we know it.

  3. I thought that the left had already tried a tea-party style revolt. Twice - "Occupy Wall Street" and the "Coffee Party." Both fizzled, with the "Coffee Party" sinking without a trace, and OWS being known today primarily for the "Wants More Government <-> More Government" meme.

I suspect that no one involved in that sort of assassination activity would ever survive to reach court.
